esellas Names John Florer as Chief Operations Officer to Accelerate Growth Objectives

Today, esellas announced the appointment of sales and operational leader John Florer as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Florer brings three decades of experience in sales and sales support leadership from a strategy and operational perspective that will spearhead growth for both esellas and its customers.


Florer takes on this role during esellas’ pivotal, high-growth phase. His expertise in leading multi-team environments, focusing on client growth, and delivering high-value outcomes will pave the way for the company’s own skyrocketing trajectory as well as that of its customers. 


As esellas’ first COO, Florer is responsible for helping to build the right operational infrastructure, including the best-fit tools, processes, methods, and best practices to ensure esellas scales with growth. He will set meaningful goals for the company such as financial and growth objectives, and will oversee esellas’ own revenue operations, including investments and performance management.

Much of Florer’s career has been spent in operational and strategic roles in large enterprises—namely Hewlett Packard Enterprise—helping them develop go-to-market strategies. He has been a part of a leadership team in a COO capacity for a sales enablement organization responsible for $250-million in budget and thousands of employees. Additionally, he has deployed new sales methodologies, conducted change programs, and evaluated, designed, configured, and deployed new ways of going to market.
